We are the Sourcing Department. We manage the relationship with our apparel & accessories vendors & ensure that lululemon has best in the world manufacturers. We work cross-functionally across the entire product team to ensure product meets our business strategy, quality & cost goals. We then work with our vendors to make those products a reality.
a day in the life of a Sourcing Allocations Manager
•Allocate to the appropriate factory balancing factory capabilities and capacity while supporting the sourcing strategy
•Allocate product considering specific style needs in addition to manufacturing requirements
•Manage internal and external capacity and capability requirements throughout the season to identify risks and provide solutions
•Escalate risk areas where needed
•Manage allocations communication internally and externally with factory partners. This includes, but is not limited to, capacity planning.
•Analyze reporting data to guide decision making
•Key allocation project management and reporting as needed by sourcing
•Relationship management – build strong and lasting relationships externally with supply base and internally with key cross-functional partners to foster an environment of partnership and trust

•Working knowledge and comfort level with Excel
•Manufacturing knowledge required
•Garment construction knowledge an asset
•Factory or sourcing experience an asset
•Excel in communication, project management, and analysis
•Self motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable and a team player
•5 years experience in sourcing, production, manufacturing environment
•degree preferred
