Allocations
As part of the product team the Allocations team is responsible for getting the right product to the right store at the right time partnering closely with our immediate cross-functional partners; Planning and Merchandising, as well as the DCs, Logistics, Operations, and the stores to create the best experience for our guest. The allocator manages inventory (throughout the full lifecycle) at the store/SKU level for their respective departments to maximize profitability in order to meet sales and gross margin goals
a day in the life of an Allocations Analyst
Partner pre-season, throughout buy process, and in-season to identify and execute the most appropriate flow of product by store cluster and by size with entire cross-functional team to create the most compelling store experience for each guest
Identify, analyze and address individual store trends/needs and trends by store cluster to appropriately allocate and replenish product. Create robust meltdown analysis to drive future season size and clustering decisions
Partner with sizing team and merchandising to analyze and recommend appropriate size curves for each style/color
Partner with SSC logistics team to manage DC inbound and outbound workflow and prioritize product flow as needed
Work with the New Store Analyst to build and maintain appropriate inventory levels in each new store
The finer print
Bachelors degree in Business or related fields
Experience with JDA Advanced Arthur Allocation, MMS, or other commercially developed Allocation tools
Expert knowledge of analytical tools (i.e. Excel, Access, BI tools).
