Amanda Allen

Inspirational Athlete, Trainer, Coach and Presenter, Amanda Allen, has been helping people achieve athletic goals, peak performance, weight-loss, health, vitality and work-life balance for many years. Her passion is to pass-on the benefits of her achievements, experiences and skills - to those looking for meaningful, positive change in their lives and workplaces. Amanda is a rare breed of coach, bringing together high level sporting performance, wholistic health and lifestyle coaching in a very practical, enthusiastic and refreshingly honest manner.

At 41 years of age, with little more than 6 months in the sport, Amanda placed 19th at the 2011 Reebok Crossfit Games. In 2011 she also became State and National C1/C2 Canoeing Champion. Not one to do things by halves Amanda is also is a former State, National and World title triathlete, and a State and National champion cyclist.

Amanda is a Cert IV Master Trainer, CHEK Exercise & Lifestyle Coach Level 2, Sports Coach Level 2, has studied Wholistic Psychology, Hatha Yoga, Reiki and Massage; she spent a brief period as a Firefighter with the SAMFS. She has a Degree in Marketing, and Operations and Logistics, and is an experienced Event Manager.

Amanda has presented seminars for Santos, lululemon athletica, Little Hero’s Foundation, Operation Flinders, Clemenger Advertising, Rachel’s Model Agency, Joggers World, 2XU, Breast Screen SA, Transport SA, State Swim, The Dolphin Research Foundation and many other private, government and community groups over the past 15 years. Amanda writes regularly for various publications on subjects including wellbeing, fitness, depression, addictions, peak performance and women’s health; she is currently writing her first book – still!

Amanda is regularly featured in the media including Channel 10’s Totally Wild, Today Tonight, ABC Radio National, in The Sunday Mail, The Advertiser, Women’s Health & Fitness, Oxygen Magazine, Inside Sport - amongst other publications.
