I was not a born runner, certainly not a natural! I began running at the age of 35 when my daughter was 9 months old. I joined a beginner running program offered by the Annapolis Striders. That was 11 years ago. Running has changed my life, my career path and ignited my passion. Since my first 5K in 2001, I have run a marathon, countless half marathons, ten milers and plenty of 10K’s and 5k’s. In 2006 I joined the board of directors of the Annapolis Striders, a 1500 member running club. Since 2009 I have served as the Vice President for Training and Education, as well as coached 5K, 10K, half marathon and full marathon training groups. I have been a certified running coach since 2008 and became a personal trainer in 2012. In 2008 I started Sports Prep Running Clinics,... Read the profile >>
