Kim McCaig teaches vinyasa flow yoga classes at Prana Studio in Annapolis. Kim began taking yoga in 1995 and found that the more she practiced the healthier in body, mind and spirit she became. In 2007 she decided to deepen her knowledge and became certified under Shiva Rea's Global School of Living Yoga. She is currently seeking her 500hr certification with an emphasis on Restorative Yoga and Ayurveda. She has studied under Maria Garre, Shannon Paige Schneider and Shiva Rea and is inspired by many yoga teachers, including several in the Annapolis community. Kim also works at Fairhaven School, where students are free to pursue their passions in their own time. She has lived close to the Chesapeake Bay most of her life and enjoys hiking, biking, and hanging out with her two daughters and husband. She seeks more time in this fast-paced world. Kim's classes are designed to help students build upon stages and modifications of asanas with an emphasis on breath and the journey between the poses.
