Chris is one of the co-owners of Rogue Running, an Austin-based running store, training center, and community that is committed to changing people's lives through running. Rogue has 2 locations, one near downtown Austin and one in Cedar Park, and trains over 3,000 runners per year to complete races from 5K to marathon.
Chris was a retired (and recovering) soccer player at age 19 when he began running to stay in shape and quickly became addicted to the sport. Since then, he has run 10 marathons, struggled through 2 Half-Ironman events (w/o drowning!), and completed over 90 other road races and triathlons. In the context of a supportive community, he believes in the power of running to change lives as the perfect crucible for self-discovery through sweat, discipline, and pain. When not running, coaching, or working at Rogue, Chris can be found chasing his two sons and new daughter who arrived in January 2013.
