Brandon, founder of Claim Your Journey, is a 26 year old that is very passionate about Running and Louisiana. During his childhood, he spent his time participating in local summer track clubs and ran on the varsity Cross Country team in high school at Baton Rouge High. He has participated and attended all of the major races in the state of Louisiana and belongs to several running groups. In January of 2011, Brandon decided that he wanted to develop a platform for Runners in Louisiana to communicate and find information about running across the state, giving Louisiana runners a voice and showing that the Louisiana Running community is one of the best around. Kim started practicing yoga in 1998 at the Jivamukti Yoga School in NYC. After four years of dedicated study there, she decided to travel and study with many other teachers including the late Sri. Kristin DeMarco was introduced to yoga through an injury. While trail running on the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2002 she fell, sustaining an injury that made it impossible to do any typical athletes fitness regimen. No running, no swimming, no biking, barely walking- panic ensued rapidly. Until one of the coaches at her University introduced her to pilates and yoga as a way to deal and heal. This is frequently how we try something new; through a totally strange and scary experience that necessitates transformation, adaptation and stark, complete honesty. To her surprise, she loved it. Natalie Romero’s life was changed when she began to take Lagree Fitness classes. Not only did it change her body, but it gave her more energy and a renewed enthusiasm for health and fitness. Now, as an owner of Body Factory and a certified Lagree Fitness instructor, she is able to teach the classes she fell in love with. Natalie received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Library Science certification from LSU. I was so touched when asked to be an ambassador, and then delighted to be in the company of amazing people. Upon our first meet and greet we were challenged to goal set....our lives....ten years out. When writing this bio it hit me that that is who I am...me. As I reinvent myself, I look ahead to each day of my future. My Daddy was a gentleman's spy for the Army and his area was South America. We moved often, it was an extremely volatile time in Buenos Aires and my family was in the middle of it. So, on one hand you had civil war, and the other this wildly beautiful country.
