Her teachings are inspired from her studies with Don and Amba Stapleton, David Moreno, Shiva Rhea, Ana Forrest, and Elise Browning Miller. Before Lily was a yoga instructor, she was a dancer. Lily was born with a loving fascination towards the body-mind-spirit and started formal dance training at age six, continuing to study dance at UC Berkeley and performing and touring nationally and internationally for ten years as a professional modern dancer. Meghan studied Shakespeare and musical theatre at the University of Washington before moving to California. She discovered The Dailey Method while rehearsing for the musical "Cabaret" and was impressed with her immediate increase in strength and flexibility. Meghan started teaching The Dailey Method in 2008 and has since begun assisting the Piedmont and Berkeley studio owners in training new instructors. As the manager of the Berkeley and Piedmont studios Meghan has a deep investment in the success of each client and has been absolutely inspired watching them progress in their Dailey Method practice. Shane has been teaching fitness for 20 years but has been bouncing around her entire life! Her fitness evolution started at a young age with dance and gymnastics followed by horseback riding and softball. She returned to dance at the age of 17 and danced her way through college studying ballet, pilates, jazz, modern and hip hop and danced with the Briggs Contemporary Dance Company. She was honored when selected to train at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center in NYC and expanded her dance knowledge studying Dunham and Horton techniques.
