Lache' Bailey

Laché Began running Cross-Country and Track & Field at El Cerrito High. Her Collegiate running career began at San Francisco State University, Where she won the CCAA Conference Championship and placed 3rd at the NCAA Div. II national championships in the 800m. In 2000, Laché transferred to University of California, Berkeley on a full athletic-scholarship where she studied African-American Studies, and finished her collegiate running experience with honors including two-time NCAA All-American in the 800m.
Prior to returning to Mills as Head Coach, Laché was the Assistant Cross Country Coach at SFSU, Assistant Track & Field Coach at Mills, Head Track & Field Coach at Piedmont Middle and Head Cross Country and Assistant Track Coach at Louisville High School. Laché is passionate about coaching and has continues to compete In 2008 she qualified for the United States Olympic Trials, current Pr’s are 2:05 in the 800m and 16:59 in the 5k.
