Yogini Leslie Glickman gracefully takes you on a journey of self-discovery, inspiring students toward greater self-awareness. Her all-level specialty classes include Vinyasa Krama (creative vinyasa) and Yin Yoga (long, slow & deep), where each student can find full expression towards their highest self. Ultimately, lessons on the mat translate into experiences off the mat leading to “glimpses of how we want to live our best lives.” Her greatest influences have been from: Rodney Yee, Seane Corn, Bryan Kest, David Swenson & John Friend.
Leslie’s generosity of community involvement is expansive. She is director of Yoga Journey Teacher Training (RYS 200), owner of Yoga Journey studio located in Boca Raton, and offers free monthly clinics that introduce new students to the joy of yoga and assist more advanced practitioners in enhancing their own mechanics, is an ambassador for lululemon athletica, where she believes in the company’s philosophy of community building while regularly teaching classes gratis, and organizes Kula gatherings as a forum for those involved in yoga to practice, network and share a common experience each month. Along with her 6 weekly classes, she also provides workshops, worldwide retreats and has developed a diverse group of private clients, specializing in helping those afflicted with Parkinson’s, fertility trouble, post surgical conditions and cancer, among other health challenges.
A dedicated and devoted mother and wife, Leslie is highly involved with two very active children, shares the business Advanced Physical Therapy Associates in Boca Raton and Delray Beach with her husband, Andy, and was former owner of Michael’s Body Scenes Aerobics and Fitness Center. Leslie has been teaching yoga for over 16 years and believes it is an education of the self, providing her a lifeline toward living a more balanced, focused and charitable life.
