Lisa Fierer

Corepower Yoga

A bodybuilding injury in 1999 led Lisa to take her first yoga class, where she discovered that yoga provided the physical and psychological flexibility that she was craving. She found that yoga brought not only physical healing, but also the opportunity for a more meaningful connection with herself and with others. Lisa namely teaches Yoga Sculpt, a discipline that blends yoga with strength training, allowing students to connect with their own inner strengths and abilities. Lisa's classes are opportunities to work hard, laugh hard and (chances are) endure some serious classic 80's tunes. In 2008 she invented 80's Yoga Sculpt, a high-energy blend of yoga sculpt and a raucous 80's dance party. Lisa is also a student of Sanskrit and chant, and is currently completing an 18-month training... Read the profile >>
