Compassion, freedom, liberation, connection. This is only the beginning of what Yoga means to me. After my first Hot Yoga experience in college, I knew it was just the beginning of my journey. I fell in love with the way it made
me feel and was so curious to let it open new doors within my mind and soul. I took a step back and can remember the "lift off" feeling I had as I walked out the door ready to create new spaces in my body and in my daily life.

My desire to travel and experience different cultures and places in the world, led me to major in International Business and Spanish. This curiousity led me to Spain then finally to New York City where I discovered the "real world" while working at the Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation. My practice continued to ground me which led me to practice Jivamukti as well
as Bikram Yoga. New York led to Miami , Miami led to a 2 year excursion on the ocean where I was blessed to venture into new territory and cultures by sailboat, yet again, with Yoga at my side.

I am very clear that my Yoga practice has always supported me no matter where I am in the world, allowing joy, humility, peace, happiness and connection to be with me. I absolutely can't imagine my life without Yoga. It brings me such great pleasure to share it with others.

I am a teacher because supporting and creating growth in each student makes a difference in their lives and those who surround them. My favorite aspect of any class is seeing someone walk in the door with the weight of their
world on their shoulders, and walk out, with a lightness and open heart that only their own Yoga practice can create.

There is always something new to learn and more places in the world to explore. I plan to do so with the grounding tools I have obtained through my own practice and teaching Yoga to others.
