Amanda Harding is proud to be the co-owner with Lesley Desaulniers of Prema Yoga Brooklyn where she teaches weekly Vinyasa flow classes as well as private/corporate clients across NYC & Los Angeles. Having been raised in a family of Broadway gypsies, the physicality of yoga initially became a natural progression after a lifetime of dancing leading to her advanced studies. Certified through NYC’s OM Yoga Center, she has been teaching privately for over 12 years as well as group classes at The Shala NYC, Equinox, Park Slope Yoga, Yoga Center of Brooklyn. Amanda teaches an Ashtanga-influenced vigorous and creative class incorporating the fluidity of dance and music with heavy emphasis on alignment, breath, patience and fun. Arturo comes to CFSBK with 7 years of training experience working with diverse populations in individual and group settings. He is a Starting Strength Coach, and holds a CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Powerlifting, CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Movement and Mobility, NASM CPT and NASM CES certifications. He has also attended the California Strength Olympic Lifting seminar. He prides himself on continuing education and changing peoples lives through fitness. Arturo's fitness background stems from the competitive and recreational aspects of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Based in New York City, Jennifer holds a 200-HR Certification with the Yoga Alliance as a Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Teacher. She completed her training with Baron Baptiste in 2008, after practicing this style for over 10 years and continues to practice and assist with him. She is also a Certified Ki-Power Vinyasa Teacher; trained by Isauro Fernandez whom she also assists for and practices with often. I’ve been teaching Yoga since 2002 and Pilates since 2003. My formal studies in movement began when I was three as a student of classical Ballet and Modern dance. I have toured internationally and taught extensively as a professional dancer since 2000, most of my adult life.
