Power Yoga Buffalo

Long before I took my first yoga class, I loved the idea of yoga- the integration of body and mind in service of the soul. What is not to love about that? Yet, much like my relationship with ballet, yoga was for those with flexibility and grace. It was, most certainty, not for me. Despite my certitude, a good friend dragged me to a yoga class over 12 years ago. I was afraid of being embarrassed, falling, and being the only one on the room who could not reach her toes. I went anyway. As the class ended, I was lying in savasana with an amazing sense of what I can only call a big-hearted feeling of love and happiness. You see, yoga was for me and my tight hamstrings. It turns out that you don’t need to be perfectly graceful and flexible. You just need to be. And so, this is why I teach.... Read the profile >>

East Meets West Yoga

I began practicing yoga 10 years ago with minimal background in movement or athletics. After my first class, I knew that yoga was the perfect all inclusive wellness path for me. I learned through my practice that my body is naturally hypermobile and I was blessed to find the right teachers within the Asthanga Yoga Tradition who taught me the importance of balance by using the practice to both harness my flexibility and to create strength. As a vinyasa yoga instructor, I continue to draw from the breath based structure of ashtanga yoga while embracing precise alignment cueing drawn from a variety of other yoga traditions and my studies in human anatomy. My classes are challenging and creative. My sequencing informs students, on a physical and energetic level, about the connections... Read the profile >>

Bikram Yoga Williamsville

Certified Bikram Yoga Instructor I walked into my first Bikram yoga class in San Diego, CA in 2001. I remember it like it was yesterday. There are few things in my life I can remember that clearly, but this one stays with me. I think because of what I have taken from my practice. I have such a clear sense of being; as well, a healthy mind and body – a complete package. I will admit that I have a love-hate relationship with my practice, but for what it gives me, I walk into the studio with an open mind. In November 2008, I graduated from Bikram yoga teacher training. Once again, things changed for me and my practice. I understand myself and the yoga on a whole new level. I hope you walk out of my class with peace in your mind and love in your heart. Just kill yourself for 90... Read the profile >>

Mind Body Flow Yoga

I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Upon completing High School, I moved to Massachusetts, where I completed my College education. After graduating from College, I stayed in Massachusetts for a number of years. I started my career and also discovered yoga. I knew after taking my very first yoga class in 2004, that yoga would be a part of my life for a long time. I realized that this practice was life changing and very powerful. It was then that the desire to teach started to rise up within me. In 2008, my husband and I relocated from Massachusetts to Williamsville, New York. I quickly found a yoga studio in the area and continued my practice. My desire to teach had grown even stronger by this point. In 2009, I took a leap of faith and underwent a 250-hour Teacher...
