Jenine received her Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University in New York and Bachelor's Degree in Human Performance and Fitness from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Prior to founding Fit Lifestyle Studios, she was a Health Promotion Director for an international biotech organization. Jenine organized all of their employees wellness programs, developed ergonomic and injury prevention programs and managed the onsite fitness center.
Jenine worked as a Clinical Physiologist post grad school in cardiology at one of the major hospitals in Boston. She has been working in the fitness and wellness industry for over 20 years, and has worked with a diverse clientele from cardiac rehabilitation, health promotion, and childhood obesity to training professional athletes including the New York Islanders.
Jenine has volunteered as a coach for Marathon Charities including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Greater Boston Food Bank, and has trained hundreds of individuals for events from sprint triathlons to the Boston Marathon.
Jenine has served as an examiner for the American College of Sports Medicine. She is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Specialist and Health Fitness Instructor. Jenine is certified by the American Heart Association as a CPR and First Aid BLS Instructor. She also holds certifications by the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in group exercise, Mad Dogg Athletics in SPINNING®, Stott Pilates Trained and Nutrition Specialist. Jenine continually trains the medical community and general population in CPR AED and First Aid.
