President of Coast Kinetics, Teresa has over 15 years in the fitness industry. She graduated with honors from Fleming College in Environmental Science and continued on to work towards her Bachelor of Environmental Science at Waterloo but realized her true passion was fitness. She ultimately graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

During her second year at SFU, Teresa suffered an L5/S1 disc herniation training for a marathon. Determined to avoid cortisone injections and surgery, she immersed herself into understanding the mechanics of low back pain. Teresa volunteered her time at Allan McGavin Sport Physio as well as Burnaby General Hospital. Teresa is widely recognized in the medical community as a result of her ability to rehabilitate herself while continuing to compete in adventure races such as the ALS Subaru Rush and MOMAR.

Teresa is a Registered Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association, holds her BCRPA personal training certification and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She remains current in the industry and regularly attends workshops. She has volunteered as a fitness instructor for the YMCA, a rehabilitation assistant with Allan McGavin Physiotherapy and a coach with the Tri-City Youth Basketball Association.
