Having sustained contact sports injuries during his athletic career, Kent was motivated and inspired to find relief in alternative healing therapies. His introduction to Yoga was in 1983 during off-season university American football training. As a qualified/certified yoga teacher and Thai yoga therapist with degrees in biology and psychology. Kent’s ongoing experience in the yogic process and extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology allows him to read student’s bodies and create a healing environment for all levels. Lainie Jenkins

One Family Yoga and Fitness

Lainie’s interest in movement began as a dancer and she was later certified as an International Aerobics and Pilates Instructor. After 20 years in this world, these interests led her towards yoga. Lainie discovered yoga in 2002 while living in Chile, South America and practiced profoundly for the following three years in the Iyengar and Astanga methods attending daily classes and Workshops. She completed her Internationally Certified 200 hr Level One ISHTA Training in Australia in April 2005. Lainie returned to Chile to continue teaching yoga but decided to further her yoga training by returning to Australia this time to complete the 300 hr Advanced ISHTA Apprenticeship, taught by internationally-renowned Rachel Zinman. Martin Collyer

Martin began his early dance training in the Cecchetti method with Stephen Ayres, and with London's Central School of Ballet's junior extension program. At the age of sixteen, he commenced full time training at Central, studying the Vaganova method with teachers including Murray Kilgour, Nancy Kilgour, Stephen Williams and Carole Gable. Central's third year saw Martin enjoying the tutelage of Greg Horsman and touring the UK extensively, performing a diverse range of works to critical acclaim. These included the Grand Pas de Deux from act III of "Raymonda" and Bournonville's "Flower Festival in Genzano".
