Being physically active has always been second nature for me. Growing up in upstate NY limited my options for outdoor activities for a good portion of the year. My love for running was sparked while working with legendary running coach Jack Daniels at SUNY Cortland for Exercise Science. It wasn't until 2007 when I moved to Charleston that I truly became saturated in outdoor sports and competitive running. New activities for me like paddle-boarding, yoga, and rock climbing can be accessed easily in Charleston. I currently work as a Personal Trainer and Running Coach. My training style feeds off the functional/compound movements of many fitness principles such as yoga, olympic lifting, and running conditioning training.
