Emmy Blume has been a fitness instructor for 23 years. She went to Indiana University where she also taught fitness classes. Emmy also studied at The Canyon Ranch Health Spa in Tucson, Arizona. Currently and for the past 20 years, she has taught Spin and a variety of other classes at the East bank Club. Jennifer started practicing yoga in 2001, searching for a mind body connection. It was through this exploration that inspired her to rethink and refocus her life. In 2005 she quit a career in finance in order to pursue and dedicate herself to her practice and to teach others. Her intention in teaching is to empower and to motivate students to their greatest potential not only on the mat, but more importantly, to take what they learn about themselves in yoga and incorporate it into their daily lives. She has studied and completed teacher training with Paul Dallaghan in Thailand. Jessica has been practicing yoga for 10 years. After trying many schools of yoga including Bikram, Kundalini, Hatha, and Ashtanga, she has been practicing the Vinyasa style of yoga for the past 7 years. Her teacher training was completed with Shiva Rea but she enjoys learning from teachers of all backgrounds. These include Richard Freeman, Manju Jois, Rusty Wells, Mitchell Bleier, Natasha Rizopoulos, Maty Ezraty, and many others. Jessica’s classes use dynamic and breath-cued movement to challenge students to experience themselves on the gross and subtle body level. Margo Kellison began teaching yoga in 2002. She is a Baptiste Power Vinyasa trained yoga instructor that blends the strength of the movement with the stretch of the heart and mind. Sarah has been a group exercise instructor for 13 years. She is certified in many formats, but has the strongest passion for her kickboxing and strength classes. Fitness has always been a priority for Sarah. She began running with her father, who she admires and respects enormously, while in grade school. Following in his stride, she continued to run throughout college. Several years later, a back-row step class participant, the instructor of that class singled her out and encouraged her to attend an instructor training. Sarah found a new hobby.
