Ellen Bradley

Moksha Yoga Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky

An avid athlete from a young age, Ellen discovered yoga at the end of her collegiate tennis career at Villanova University. From that first class, she fell in love! Little did she know this was a seed planted that would continue to blossom! Her yoga practice gave her support and a solid foundation throughout the next 8 years as she and her husband, Michael, moved around the country while he played professional basketball in the NBA. The one studio that always stood out from all the others was Moksha Yoga in Toronto. It is here that she discovered her first true teachers and dear friends, Jess Robertson and Ted Grand. During the summer of 2005, after her first daughter was born, Ellen committed to taking the Moksha yoga training. This became a decision that would change her life in... Read the profile >>

Kerry Lee

I have been a runner for 24 years. Inspired by my Dad who ran marathons when I was young, I began running with him and discovered shortly thereafter it was something that would be a part of my life for good! As I studied to become a math teacher, it only seemed a natural fit to also become a coach. I have had the pleasure of teaching and coaching cross country and track for 15 years now at Anderson High School. There are so many great reasons to run, but the one thing that I enjoy the most is spreading my passion for the sport to others. As part of my job I get to inspire and motivate young athletes daily but I also make it a goal to encourage friends old and new to get into the sport that is so encouraged and embraced by our community! The energy is so positive in the running... Read the profile >>

Kevin Wimmer

Elmntl Fitness

Kevin Wimmer is the owner/trainer/motivator at ELMNTL Fitness. He walked away from a flourishing career as a Creative Director in Global Packaging to pursue his dream of instructing functional and fun fitness in an outdoor environment. Applying the same sense of creativity and "blue sky" philosophy to ELMNTL Fitness keeps the workouts fresh and energizing every time. "Accomplishing a workout at the gym, prepares you for a workout at the gym. When you challenge yourself in nature, the workout is different each time. Heat and humidity force you to be conservative with your energy and force your body to adapt. Rain forces you to compensate with balance and resiliency. Snow increases resistance and focus. That is training within the elements. And of course, in spring and fall, why would... Read the profile >>

Pascal Buckley-Waugh

Shine Yoga

Pascal is head teacher at GravityProof and teaches at Shine Yoga. As a teacher, he is known for his compassion, enthusiasm and attention to alignment. He writes regularly on the technology of yoga, human behavior and the intersection of philosophy, science and heart. "I spend a lot of time thinking about stories—more than meat and muscle and bone, we are made of stories. They are what we’re made of…one of the reasons teaching yoga is so great is how it invites you to add, consciously, to the story of you. You're writing your loves and dreams, using your body as the pen, and that leads to greater self-awareness and greater creative expression." Crediting yoga alignment with the rescue of his body, he is most excited about helping students step into their hearts and get... Read the profile >>

Tonya Butler

Move Your Hyde, YogahOMe (Oakley), It's Yoga

I've been a certified ashtanga teacher for 11yrs and I've been practicing for 13yrs. The Practice as become a huge part of my life. I was drawn to the mat first for the physical challenge the practice holds but over the years I've grown to appreciate the mental side just as much. My favorite thing about teaching Yoga is to help students go beyond their edge. To explore their bodies and learn to connect to their inner strength. Until we stop and listen to what we feel, we can't achieve full body awareness. By learning to take each breath one at a time, you find a deeper sense of self. You walk a little taller. You live a little healthier. You give back a little more. I am constantly inspired by my students. I fuel my day with sweat & smiles. Really can't think of anything better.... Read the profile >>
