I've been a certified ashtanga teacher for 11yrs and I've been practicing for 13yrs. The Practice as become a huge part of my life. I was drawn to the mat first for the physical challenge the practice holds but over the years I've grown to appreciate the mental side just as much. My favorite thing about teaching Yoga is to help students go beyond their edge. To explore their bodies and learn to connect to their inner strength.
Until we stop and listen to what we feel, we can't achieve full body awareness. By learning to take each breath one at a time, you find a deeper sense of self. You walk a little taller. You live a little healthier. You give back a little more.
I am constantly inspired by my students. I fuel my day with sweat & smiles. Really can't think of anything better. OM Shanti
