Lisa, a Certified Personal Trainer and owner of Equilibrium Personal Training, teaches her clients that “Challenging yourself physically can lead to stress reduction, better sleep, and a better outlook on life.” The company's name derives from her belief in the necessity of having balance in ones life; that fitness, health and happiness are all about finding this equilibrium. No one can, or should, be striving for perfection- it’s an impossible goal, and it’s pretty boring! Life is all about enjoying yourself and looking good while doing it! Lisa promotes the idea that being strong, fit, and feeling good about yourself when you enter a room is possible, and can actually co-exist with a social life that includes all of the good food San Francisco has to offer—its all about balance!
Lisa’s clients are diverse, as are her workouts. She is a certified personal trainer, pilates instructor, and yoga instructor (American Council on Exercise, Polestar Pilates, and Yoga Alliance/Yoga Tree) in addition to being trained in Spinning, Bootcamp, Kickboxing, and Sculpting. Her workouts are varied and constantly changing as she learns more about creating new exercises and programs. Lisa firmly believes that a workout plan should evolve with the individual, and should suit him or her to a tee. In a workout with Lisa, expect to work every major muscle group using exercises that are challenging, dynamic, and focused, and plan on being sore. Oh, and don’t forget to have fun!
