The vid shows her using a Polar transmitter. Is this compatible with a Garmin transmitter also?

Comment by Chris — December 23, 2012 @ 1:46 pm

What a terrific idea! Do you have them for men too?

Comment by Ron Zalko — December 25, 2012 @ 12:56 pm

Great news that you’re bringing this back after so many years!! Looks better than ever.

Comment by Laura — December 26, 2012 @ 6:08 am

Hey guys! Jonas here from the Queen Street store in Toronto (yes, the same Jonas that used to be a Run Ambassador for two years in Montreal!)

I see Polar hardware in the video; will the bra work with Garmin hardware (and hardware from other manufacturers, assuming physical fit works)? For example, would this Garmin sensor be compatible: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=15490&ra=true. It looks like you could snap the hardware off the Garmin strap and snap it on to the All Sport…?

Comment by Jonas Caruana — December 26, 2012 @ 6:34 am

FABULOUS! Will these come in typical bra sizes? I’m an avid tata tamer customer, and need something with A LOT of support :)

Also, I assume this is washable without effecting the built in sensors? Honestly this will solve many issues for larger chested women as the sensor strap causes bruising and burns. Not pretty!

Thank you Lulu!

Comment by Michelle — December 26, 2012 @ 7:56 am

I’ve been looking at these in other brands for more than a year. My one concern – will it be machine washable?

Comment by Becky — December 26, 2012 @ 7:59 am

Wow! Can’t wait to own this!!!

Comment by Laura — December 26, 2012 @ 8:04 am

I’m assuming it’s a Polar sensor….?

Comment by Leslie — December 26, 2012 @ 8:13 am

I LOVE this idea, but personally can’t stand the All Sport. It’s too restrictive for someone as tiny chested as I am. I understand that you have to design for the medium woman, especially with a specialized bra like this, though. Would still love to see the feature appear on a more comfy bra for my frame–like the energy bra, everyone loves that one!

Comment by B — December 26, 2012 @ 9:26 am

Hi Chris, Jonas and Laura
I the snaps are placed with market-standard spacing and I have heard guests comment that their Garmins do work with the bra. The Polar H7 Heart Rate Sensor is the one we’ve paired it with.

Hi Ron,
We don’t have styles that feature a heart rate monitor for men but what a neat idea! It’s certainly something I’ll share with our team. Any specific product you’d like to see it on?

Hi Michelle and Becky
The All Sport Bra is sized in 4-12 and you are able to machine wash however I suggest laying flat to dry.

Hi guys, this bra does work with any standard-spacing snap-in heart rate monitor system (Wahoo, Polar, Garmin, etc)! Check the blog next week for another post about it. :)

Comment by Ella — December 26, 2012 @ 3:30 pm

hi there- will this be available in the oz/nz stores soon? thanks!

Comment by raqi — December 26, 2012 @ 5:46 pm

Hi Raqi,
The best way to stay in the loop with new product for your local store is to keep an eye on product notifications. I took a quick look at a few stores in Australia and New Zealand and it looks like they are starting to see the bra in stores.

I have found Lululemon bras to be not supportive enough for *ahem* more well-endowed women (I am a DD), so after trying every sport bra you had, I gave up on Lulu for this necessary staple of my workout look years ago. Looking forward to trying on this design to see if it rates for support. I already wear a Polar monitor for all gym workouts, so this would be a cool thing to have if the support and fit for DD sized girls is finally there!

Comment by Barb — December 27, 2012 @ 8:37 pm

Purchased this bra through another company years ago. Blistered
Under sensor part of bra. Returned product. How is this bra different? Apart from color it looks the same.
Thank you

Comment by Vinni — December 28, 2012 @ 1:12 am

I like the concept but unfortunately I won’t be trying to product. I’m an avid runner and cyclist and honestly — this is purely anecdotal — most of the folks I know use Garmin products. Garmin Edge and Forerunner models come with the regular chest strap (not the snap kind, which is the fancier model), and I’m not gonna plunk down another $70 just so I can use a Lulu bra. I think you all missed an opportunity by gearing this toward Polar and premium Garmin product.

Comment by Stephanie — December 28, 2012 @ 6:27 am

So happy this now exists! Bought 2 of them today. Keep making them please.

Comment by Tania — December 29, 2012 @ 9:24 am

I don’t see them for sale yet on the web site. Are they in the stores only? Also, can I clip my Garmin Heart Rate monitor onto the bra, right?

Happy New Year!

Comment by Rebecca — December 31, 2012 @ 3:48 pm

Is this strap compatible w higher end polar hrm like the rcx5 or rs800cx? It snaps on- but not sure if sensors are the same…

Comment by Susan — December 31, 2012 @ 5:58 pm

Hi Rebecca,
Here’s a quick link to the product page online: http://bit.ly/WiwPmW We have been selling through for colours and sizes online however if you’re near a local store, you can head in to check out their inventory for the bra as well.

Hi Susan,
I had a conversation with a guest the other day about this with another guest. She personally has the Polar RCX5 and said the HRM did snap on.

Comment by edith — January 3, 2013 @ 1:45 am

Hey Edith,
It’s possible we will see more in future, though I’m not sure when. If you have a local store nearby, I’d recommend checking in with them to see if they have some available.

Comment by GEC Online — January 5, 2013 @ 4:29 pm

Product Managers at Lulu, can you confirm that indeed the HR Bra does work with Garmin HR monitors? I purchased the bra based in the info in this blog and it appears that mine does not work with Garmin. Have you tested it and did it work with Garmin?

Comment by stephanie kincheloe — January 9, 2013 @ 8:21 am

Hey Stephanie,

Thanks so much for reaching out about this. I’d love to dig into this further with you and get some more information. If you shoot me an email to geconline@lululemon.com with the model number of the Garmin you’re using, if you’re using it with a watch or smartphone and (if using a smartphone) what model phone. I’d love to figure out what could be causing the issue. Thanks so much and looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Comment by lululemon athletica GEC — January 9, 2013 @ 2:30 pm

I have one of these sports bras and I think the performance on them is less than optimal. The bra is very tempermental and while my Polar HR monitor piece fits into the bra it take several tries to get it to stay and any activity other than running it will pop out during.

I wanted to leave a review for this product but since it is no longer on the website I thought I would let you know that it has been disappointing, especially at such a high price.

Comment by Angela — March 10, 2013 @ 8:35 am

I just bought two of these bras over the weekend and I came straight here to beg you to keep this product going! I absolutely love the bra itself but the heart rate monitor attachment is just so so awesome! I am an avid marathon and ultra runner and have scars from the chafe from wearing my heart rate strap – ouch! I use a Garmin 610 and heart rate monitor and the monitor attached perfectly and worked great for my long runs over the weekend. I’ll be searching my local(Edmonton)stores and online trying to stock up on this bra! The only thing I noticed that may be an issue was the seam where the strap attaches at the front hits right at my collar bone and could become a chafe spot, especially when wearing a hydration pack. Admittedly, I do have kinda bony collarbones and there will always be chafing to deal with somewhere at some point ;) This is such a great product, please keep making them!

Comment by Alissa — April 2, 2013 @ 9:29 am

Hey Alissa,
Thanks for the All Sport Bra *Heart Rate Monitor love! I know that you are not alone in your desire to see this style make a comeback and I will most certainly be sharing your thoughts and insights with the design team.

I really want some of these bras, as chaffing is an issue with a strap. How can I purchase them. PLEASE HELP

I really need one of these! Is it available anywhere?!?

Comment by Stephanie — May 5, 2013 @ 9:40 pm

Hi Stephanie,
We saw this bra a handful of months ago and have since sold through for them online and in stores. There’s been a lot of love to see it make a come back and I can add that you’d love to see it again too.

I run a lot and these sports bras are an absolute revelation. I love mine. The only problem is, when I went to buy another, the shop told me they weren’t being made anymore. Is this true? If so, please, please, please bring them back!

Comment by Gemma Houghton — May 20, 2013 @ 3:53 am

Hi Gemma,
It’s not a bra style we’re seeing at the moment. Our bras are seasonal so while we do see some styles for a few weeks, we do sell through for them and make room for new ones. I’ll share you’d love to see the All Sport Bra *Heart Rate Monitor back in stock!

This is the best heart rate solution I’ve ever found. Another great product from Lululemon. Please make more!

Comment by Kathy — June 2, 2013 @ 5:40 am

Where can I buy this? I didn’t see it on the website. I did see it in a magazine but cannot find it online or in stores…Thanks!

Comment by Lia — June 8, 2013 @ 6:02 pm

Hi Lia,
The All Sport Bra *Heart Rate Monitor isn’t a style we’re seeing at the moment. Our bra styles change every few weeks and this is a bra we saw winter of last year. I can share you’d love to see a similar style return in the future.

Please bring back this bra. It is much more useful for the summer anyway! I want in every color!

Comment by Sou — June 20, 2013 @ 7:16 pm

I just found this and was told it is no longer available? it must have only been available for a really short time! PLEASE bring it back. I hate the chest strap on my HRM! Thanks

Comment by Lynn — June 25, 2013 @ 1:07 pm

Why would this not be a year-round style? Runners who are serious enough to use heart rate monitors run all year. My girlfriend recently started using a heart rate monitor and the provided strap digs into her skin, causing serious wounds. Your product would be an ideal solution if it was only available.

You’re really missing the boat by having only made this available for a few short weeks back in January. Such a shame.

Comment by Eric — July 22, 2013 @ 8:38 am

Bring this product back please and in a choice of colours.

I couldn’t believe it when I went in to the store and they said, they no longer sold it. It doesn’t matter what the season is, I run with the bra all year round and it helps with preventing the chaffing that I get from the HR strap.

Comment by Nola — August 10, 2013 @ 10:12 pm

I just went into a store to get a new one of these bras to be told they were no longer available. All the women I train with have adopted them and we train all year round. It is a real pity they are no longer available as they were really filling a gap for women who train a lot and so have problems with the HRM straps chaffing.

Comment by Catherine Ballantyne — August 10, 2013 @ 10:16 pm

Please please please bring back this bra!!!!!!
I’m begging!!!
