Why doesnt Lululemon make sizes larger than 12?

Comment by Brooke Whicher — May 6, 2010 @ 8:54 am

Hey Melissa,

I am longing for lulu to bring back the remix lux hoodie:( Just wondering if you know whether or not lulu is going to be doing this as the regular remix hoodies are getting a little too thick to wear this time of the year… The remix lux I bought last year is starting to ask for a new brother or sister…. LOL

Thanks,

Tania

Hello Melissa,

I knew about lululemon, but I never thought u had anything in my size. Being 6’9 250 pounds ex pro basketball player I did find a pant that fit me the Kung Fu XXL Tall love them they only had 2 colors black and dark grey I brought them both, I love the light grey if you have them in my size please let me know and make more bigger sizes well Tall sizes please:>) I train a lot of athletes and they love them on me there’s a market. But until then I would love the Light Grey in a XXL Tall.

Thanks
Laurent

Are there plans on bringing skirts back in a tall? Love my run hills skirts from prior years! Sharon

Use a live webcam streaming service such as USTREAM, much more efficient than posting questions and such on Facebook, more interactive as well :D

hi Lululemon team – I am new to your product as I live in Australia and found your shop by accident. I’m a runner and got one of your new jackets which I love – but I wish you had higher waisted shorts and pants. I HATE hipsters! They don’t work for me at all. Not for exercise, certainly not for running, and not for life.

Cheers,
Nancy

I think a Lulu store would boom in the Hamilton/Ancaster, Ontario area. You would draw Grimsby, Burlington, St. Catherines. I know it isn’t a franchise but I would love the opporutnity to be involved with a new location. I am an elementary teacher, runner, figure skater, and could almost open my own store with what I own! Jackson Square is changing rapidly in the downtown core with a Farmer’s Market, Health Food and Supplement Stores and a Goodlife and Premier Fitness right there! Just thought I would throw it out there!

Thanks.

I’d like to shop online – but you have very few choices of sizes. What to do? Do more become available? Can I put a size on hold?

Comment by Maureen — May 9, 2010 @ 3:52 pm

Hi Maureen, currently you can not place anything on hold online. Thank you for your feedback, I will be sure to share this with our Online Community team.

Put a Lulu Lab in all major cities including Edmonton and Calgary… us prairie folks need it too!!

Comment by InstyleO — May 11, 2010 @ 12:45 am

DEFINITELY put a Lulu Lab in Edmonton!!!!!!!
It’s silly how a company that is growing strong cannot have a system in place to ship to customers… what legal implications are there that cannot be figured out?!? Get a project team together and make it happen!! Don’t start to disappoint your loyal customers now!! Please find a way!!!

Comment by Tick Tock — May 11, 2010 @ 12:47 am

Why don’t you make your designs in size XS? I am typically a size 2, and many of your items are a little too large for me. If you were to offer them in XS, I would definitely purchase. Also, why don’t you make your Switfly & Cool Racerbacks in White? It’s a basic color that I would definitely purchase if you offered it in white!

Comment by Patty — May 11, 2010 @ 9:09 am

shame that couldn’t catch up online cos of in the Asia city time .
i agreed with patty’s comment, as i’m petit and wear size2 in most of the item, top in4 but sometimes some items are still slightly sluggish.

As this summer collections is fantastic with all the pastel candy colors , absolutely adore and pls make more shaper eyecatchy colors not dull and dark , ( too much blacks) specially for the leggings, would like to know if they would not only available in denim but in other fabrics too , like static is really comfy as for the crops!

would like to see more low cut for the tank . most of the tanks & bras are quiet full covered ,what about for small breast people? such as the hot tank & hot yogis are great.

in addition to the online order is frustrating on the interl’/US sites ,as there aren’t many options and colors , sizes ( esp small ) goes out of stock so quickly, could have been more stocks and more colors , styles like canada sites, as it’s for many countries ordering .

Hi Patty! Our Cool Racerback is available in white. As for sizing, our size range is 4-12, with a few items available in size 2 and 14. I’ll pass it along that you’d like to see more selection in size 2 :)

Comment by Laura - GEC Online Community — May 11, 2010 @ 2:07 pm

kk, did you know that our Wunder Under Crop comes in luon, luon denim, and organic cotton? Take a look at our crops page on our website to see the selection: http://bit.ly/cc7z5S Thank you for your feedback! I’ll be passing your suggestions on to our design and online teams :)

Hey Brendan – thanks for the suggestion about USTREAM. We all LOVE USTREAM around here and can’t wait to leverage video for our upcoming “Ask a Designer” live series.

This is our very first live chat, so we’ll be testing the waters with FB and Twitter. But keep your eyes peeled for lots of fun new tools in the future.

When are you going to get more Stride jackets in?

Comment by Michele — May 13, 2010 @ 5:45 am

Hi Michele!

We do not have information on whether products will be re-released! (Our design team likes to keep it a well kept secret!) We do have a lot of summer left, and should see some more luon jackets. I recommend signing up for an online or store product notification. (Online email sign-up is at the bottom right corner of this page!).

Hi, I’m looking forward to getting my sister a Lulu Lux sweatshirt for her birthday. I am also hoping you bring them back myself!

I have noticed…not one comment has been made on WHY the woman’s sizes only go to xl and yet the men’s sizes have xxl? For many years I have admired your clothing and am sad that I can’t wear it. I work out, I want to be a customer, PLEASE consider that sizes 14/16 girls are willing to pay more for clothes that fit. Thank you for your amazing innovations to work out wear, I hope one day I too can wear it!

Comment by Kerri — January 30, 2012 @ 9:50 pm

Hi Kerri,

Thanks for your question! Our business model focuses on smaller, boutique-style retail stores, which in turn limits the size range we can offer within each style and colour. We are always open to design feedback about the products and sizes we offer, and I have shared your comments to our designers to let them know that you would love to see us offer larger sizes in the future.
