wanderlust 2011: a summary

How do you put four days of life-changing yoga and celebration at Wanderlust Festival in Lake Tahoe into words without sounding like you drank a big glass of Kool-Aid? Alana’s solution: lists.

day 3: when the going gets tough

Day 3 of the Wanderlust Festival (only one more day left!) brings spontaneous acts of yoga, the Rolling Stones, and the question: when the going gets tough, do you stick it out or peace out?

day 2: want something? create it.

Hips are open, tears are flowing, and there’s still two days of good times at Wanderlust left. Alana’s here with her Day 2 recap which included yoga classes with Seane Corn and John Friend, a lecture on happiness and meditation, and meeting a hammock company that’s out to change the world.

day 1 at wanderlust

Today our on-the-mat correspondent Alana got in touch with her inner pole dancer, cleaned out her personal “junk drawer”, met her mat neighbours, had a yoga breakthrough and laid a pretend egg. And this was just the first day of the Wanderlust festival.

day zero: the adventure begins

Our resident yoga-enthusiast and digital content specialist, Alana, is in Lake Tahoe for Wanderlust Squaw Valley. There’s one class that has piqued our interest here in Vancouver and now our West 4th store has their very own ambassador who specializes in it.

Here are a few behind-the-scenes photos from the afternoon. Nico was teaching a yoga class downtown, so while we waited for […]
