Meet the Contributor: Tiffany

My job at lululemon athletica came out of a little bit of teenage luck. I was only fifteen years old when I sent in my application online at lululemon.com – applying for a job at the store in Oakville, Ontario. I had nothing on my resume other than some occasional summer babysitting. I was so exceptionally excited about the thought of having my very own job, I added an inspired note to the bottom of my application – and that is what sealed the deal for an interview, so I’ve been told. The rest is history. I have been working for the company ever since, and I am currently a keyleader at the store in Kingston, Ontario.

Oh, and in case you were wondering: according to a Facebook application, I have travelled to 14% of the world’s countries; my favourite colour is black (it is a colour); I have 24 Remix lulu Hoodies; I love handwritten notes; and my big hairy audacious goal is to be the CEO of lululemon by February 9, 2024. Watch out Chip!

ode to the remix lulu hoodie

I have a confession: I’m in love with the Remix lulu Hoodie. There’s something so incredibly loveable about its comfy, cozy, cotton fleece; its extra-long arms, and deep hood to protect my ears from the bitter Ontario cold. Over the years, I’ve amassed quite a collection of this sweater. To show my unwavering love and […]

give the gift

Sarah from Kingston is about to give the gift of feedback. Gifts come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes they are big, sometimes they are small, and sometimes, they don’t appear to be gifts at all. What is feedback? At one time in my life, I asked that exact question. From my experience in both […]

give thanks

Above are Tiffany’s housemates, Fay, Emma, Kelsey, and Sarah, who are giving thanks to each other in little ways. To most university students, Thanksgiving brings the excitement of going home, spending time with old friends, and eating plenty of real, home-cooked meals. I have four housemates – Emma, Fay, Kelsey and Sarah – and we […]

my kitsilano sandwich

I recently arrived home from a week-long vacation out west, visiting both sets of grandparents. As you can imagine, I was treated to all sorts of special things – dinners out and shopping trips, among other activities. On one particular lunch date, I sat down and started the often-difficult task of deciding what I was […]
