2011 ways to sweat

playlist-2011
One of the things I love the best about music is how individual tastes can differ. One of my workmates is a Rihanna and Lady Gaga fanatic; my iPod is packed with obscure singer-songwriters from the 70’s, New Wave b-sides and dancehall kitsch from the streets of Jamaica (try ending every sentence by yelling ‘SHABBA!’ Most. Fun. Ever.) However, one thing we can all agree on is that there was an amazing amount of new music that came out of 2011. Without further ado, please check out my favourite, sweatiest tunes from 2011.

Chain Gang Of 1974 – hold on
M83 – Midnight City

Katy Perry – Firework
Beirut – Santa Fe
Lil Wayne featuring Cory Gunz – 6 Foot 7 Foot
Foster The People – Call It What You Want
St. Vincent – Cruel
Phantogram – Don’t Move
The Roots - Make My
The Naked And Famous – Young Blood
Class Actress – Weekend

There’s something about “Moves Like Jagger” I can’t quite shake from my iPod! I haven’t run very seriously/frequently in the past year and am getting back into it for 2012. Can’t wait to plug into this playlist and get my swaggah back with my running shoes! Thanks for sharing!
