Why the hell are you cheering for Sweden?! And all this when you are also stealing other people’s designs and making money off of Team Canada and your apparent “cheer gear”?!
Who are you really cheering on here?

You are working out of the HOME of the Olympic Games this year – you should be building and creating support for your HOME TEAM. If someone wants to cheer for Sweden, that’s great! I cheer for England on many things – but don’t SELL it.

You’re taking away from OUR amazing athletes, and OUR amazing city, which a lot of us tend to think you are a dirty stain on…..

NOW – you’re “supposed” to be a “company that cares”, so on another note:
What are YOU doing for Haiti?

Get over yourselves Lululemon.

Hey Bee! Thanks for sharing your feedback with our team. The Cheer Gear was inspired to cheer for different countries and we decided to showcase a fun Swedish inspired hoodie in our blog. Some of our stores are putting on great initiatives in support for Haiti. Check with your local store to see if they have anything planned. If not, feel free to suggest that they do something as I am sure they would be open to the idea. Feel free to email any more feedback to gec@lululemon.com – Shawna

Bee- no, get over YOURSELF. Canada is a very diverse country filled with many nationalites. I find your statement a little ironic that you say you cheer for England but don’t sell it. What’s wrong with showing pride for the the land that you come from? It doesn’t make LuLu Lemon or anyone else any less patriotic for cheering for their homeland. Its good to see that lulu is opening up its broadness to more than just Yoga (I love the hockey poses!). On a side note, What are YOU doing for Haiti?

Kathy, I will reply to your questions only because I strongly believe in what I said and feel it NEEDS to be said. I will not comment further however, as I do not have the time nor negative energy to waste on having a silly internet argument with you.

I often cheer for England but as I stated quite simply before, I do not think that a Canadian company should be selling products cheering on other countries during this very important time – just as I would be disappointed to go to England or ANY foreign country and see Team Canada products!
If someone wishes to buy patriotic apparel from a foreign country then they can do so via the internet/relatives in that country/numerous different ways directly from that country.

“What’s wrong with showing pride for the land that you come from?” Again, I think I quite obviously stated that I have pride in my home country and show that by cheering Great Britain on equally as much as I cheer for Canada. I have dual-citizenship, and I am fiercely proud of both.

And what am I doing for Haiti? My family and I have donated as much money as is possible for us to right now. Is that a good enough answer for you?

In the end what this all boils down to is that I believe Lululemon is a corrupt and greedy company that is focusing on making money in ways that seem to go directly against what the company itself “stands for”.
I have had a disturbing personal experience with Lululemon and how they are prejudiced, narrow minded and discriminatory that has led me to believe this and many other negative things about the company. I feel I have seen Lululemon’s ‘true colours’ so to speak. This is why I think they need to get over themselves (especially at the Store Employee/Managerial level) and rethink their approach.

Each person is entitled to their own preference as long as it will not be harmful to others. I see nothing wrong with this picture. These pictures shows people having fun so what is wrong with that?

The summer games are coming up and although they are not in Canada I would still love the chance to get my hands on some Lululemon Canadian Olympics attire. I especially love the red hoodie and white hoodie. I beg of you to please bring this back and make it available online!

Great fashion sense never goes our of style. It’s good to see that after years, the outfit still looks good. So much for fads that go simply go away after a few months.

The Winter Olympics are coming up again and I’m sure the blue and gold will be a power to reckon with.
