Comment by Male — January 17, 2013 @ 3:37 pm

So the US location this year is in NY?? Not going to host it in Chicago again this year??

Comment by Maya — January 18, 2013 @ 6:01 am

Will there be anything like this for SoCal?

Comment by Alexis — January 18, 2013 @ 7:33 am

What about LA???? not fair :(

Comment by Nicole — January 18, 2013 @ 7:55 am

Will you be coming back to Chicago or the midwest this year?

Comment by April — January 18, 2013 @ 8:43 am

Weird that you guys decided to have this in Long Island (a 2 hour transit ride from the city) instead of in Manhattan where there are a million lululemon stores and people who shop there. Sounded like fun, but I think it may actually be faster to visit the outlet at Woodbury Commons…

Comment by gina — January 18, 2013 @ 9:21 am

What types of discounts can we expect relative to retail store prices?

Comment by Saretta — January 18, 2013 @ 10:10 am

Why, oh why is this not taking place in So Cal?

Comment by Joan — January 18, 2013 @ 3:26 pm

To answer your warehouse questions:

Male – yes, we sure do have men’s clothing offered at our warehouse sale. An assortment of pants, tops and more will be available. We cannot guarantee specific sizes or styles but rest assured there will be plenty of awesome options for dudes!

Maya & April – as of right now, we have no plans to hold another warehouse sale in Chicago anytime soon. Be sure to follow lululemon’s warehouse sale Twitter account at @lululemonWHS for all up-to-the-minute info on all things lululemon warehouse sale, now and future.

Alexis, Nicole & Joan – we don’t have any plans for SoCal currently but check @lululemonWHS on Twitter for all info on upcoming warehouse sale events. Trust us, we love California!

Gina – we love Manhattan and Long Island. This time around we’re doing our thing at Nassau Coliseum but who knows what the future holds!

Comment by Louise — January 18, 2013 @ 7:15 pm

Will stock be replenished throughout the weekend, or will everything available be out when the doors open on Friday?

Trying to figure out if all the good stuff will be gone by Friday night.

Comment by Maria — January 19, 2013 @ 8:46 am

Looks like you skippedy question: ‘what types of discounts can be expected relative to retail prices?’

Comment by Saretta — January 20, 2013 @ 4:27 pm

Hi Lululemon,
Can you clarify the hours of the last day of the warehouse sale?? Is it 8am-6pm?

Comment by Abigail — January 20, 2013 @ 4:57 pm

COME BACK TO CHICAGO PLEASE, I missed you last time.

Comment by Diane — January 20, 2013 @ 8:47 pm

Hi Maria,
Stock will be replenished throughout the weekend and doors will open 8am on Friday.

Hi Sarettea,
The markdowns will vary in comparison to retail stores and you’ll need to come by to check out the price list once we’ve opened the doors!

Hi Abigail,
The sale will start at 8am on Sunday and we are aiming to stay open until 6pm although this is dependant on inventory. If we sell through for inventory before this time, we’ll keep you posted through our social channels. You can follow our live tweets – @lululemonWHUS

What’s your policy on strollers? Better to wear baby? Thanks!

Comment by Macaire — January 22, 2013 @ 6:03 am

Any chance you guys would consider hiring an out of towner? I’m a Chicagoan who attended two days of your sale last year and ever since I’ve wanted to be a part of it!

Comment by valerie — January 22, 2013 @ 7:33 am

I heard a store associate in NYC mention that there might be shuttle service from the nearest LIRR station to the Coliseum. Is this true?

Comment by Melissa — January 22, 2013 @ 8:40 am

Hi Macaire,
While we don’t recommend not bringing a stroller, from previous guests who’ve been to such events they advise not to bring them. I was at the warehouse event in Vancouver this past weekend and you’ll need all hands free to search the party for your stretchy gear.

Hi Valerie,
Our hiring event for the sale was this past weekend however if working such events like a warehouse sale is something you’re passionate about, I recommend connecting with your local store and they can let you know how else you can get involved with such events!

can you estimate how long you would have to wait to get in on friday?

Are you planning to re-stock on Saturday and Sunday?

Comment by Sarah — January 22, 2013 @ 11:35 am

Just wondering if there will be enough small sizes. I wear a 2 or 4 and have a hard time because there are always 1 or 2. In the stores and that’s it. It is worth my coming?

Comment by Jennifer — January 22, 2013 @ 1:22 pm

Im dying inside because Im a Lululemon fan/addicted but I dont live in the US anymore. Each news letter and emails I get from you guys make me feel really sad. I dream one day I will be back at the store being the happiest person in the world. BTW, shipping and customs fees are very expensive and Im not rich! Have a great shopping day everyone!

Comment by Wilsimara — January 22, 2013 @ 1:55 pm

Hi Maria,
I’m not sure how long the wait time will be to get into the event however you can follow @lululemonWHUS on Twitter for in the moment updates.

Hi Sarah,
We will be restocking inventory throughout the weekend.

Hi Jennifer,
We will have sizes 2-12 and the rate at which inventory sells through is dependant on what sizes our guests are looking for. I recommend stopping by for a visit to take a peak at what items we have in your specific size.

I went last year and I would advise NOT bringing baby’s/kids. You may be in line for 4 hours or longer trying to get in the sale. The kids and parents looked miserable last year.

Comment by Ryan — January 22, 2013 @ 5:54 pm

I don’t understand how you do not give an estimate of the discount that we can expect. Why would people living over an hour away come to the wearhouse sale to save 20% when they may spend that on gas? Can’t you give us an APPROXIMATE mark down that may vary?

Comment by sofia — January 23, 2013 @ 10:13 am

Also, where can we find the address for this warehouse sale?

Comment by sofia — January 23, 2013 @ 10:14 am

Someone stated that commute to this venue from city is 2 hours. I had to comment as this is not the case at all. From NYC Penn Station 42-47 minute ride on Long Island Railroad to Westbury station. google for LIRR schedule. Taxis available at Westbury station for 5 minute ride to Colesium, which is huge and a great venue for a large sale. Must call for taxi back to station. I’ve been to Woodbury Commons…hoping to save more at this sale.

Comment by Jackie C. — January 23, 2013 @ 11:57 am

Will there be a significant amount of men’s product available in the Small and Medium sizes? I am considering making the trip but it would be helpful to know if there will be a significant selection or not.

Comment by Dennis — January 23, 2013 @ 12:16 pm

The address is 1255 Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale NY (yup, our #yogabowl is Mike Bossy-approved – it’s at Nassau Coliseum, the home of the New York Islanders!) The google map address can be found here if you wish to GPS:

Have an awesome time!

Can you please hold something similar in DC??? This sounds great.

Comment by Rebecca — January 24, 2013 @ 4:47 am

I would like to bring a book with me to read while I’m in transit and if I have to wait – is it possible to bring a small, drawstring backpack where I can store the book while shopping? Thanks.

Comment by Chelsea — January 24, 2013 @ 9:13 am

Hi Rebecca,
The dates and locations of our warehouse events change each year so there’s a chance we’ll see the event in DC in the future.

Hi Chelsea,
You sure can bring bag and your book with you. We will have a bag check at the event for you to shop hands free too.

Hi Jenny and Melissa,
We will have shuttles run from the Westbury, NY train station approx every 20 minutes to the coliseum which are complimentary

They will run from:

Friday 6:30am to 9:30pm
Saturday beginning at 7:15 am and ending at 9:40
Sunday beginning at 7:15 am and ending at 7:45 pm

Comment by Peter — January 24, 2013 @ 11:45 am

Hi Dennis and Peter,
I can completely appreciate that you’d like to know what items are going to be at the event before you make the trip out. Speaking from the warehouse event that took place this weekend in Vancouver, we did have a variety of men’s gear in sizes S-XXL. I didn’t see any men’s underwear in specific. It’s tough to tell exactly what items we’ll see during the weekend however it’s best to head in for a visit if you have a chance.

can we get dropped off without having to pay for parking?

Comment by stacy — January 24, 2013 @ 6:32 pm

Hey Everyone!
I live 15 minutes from the Yoga Bowl location. Hofstra University is adjacent to the Coliseum. But it is NOT a place you can really get to by foot. So, taking the shuttle is a great idea. There is however almost across the street from the Coliseum a Starbucks and a few other fast food type eateries. The Long Island Marriot is also adjacent to the Coliseum for those who really want to make it a shopping get away. Happy Shopping and see you all there at early on Friday. I plan to purchase lots and lots of goodies.

Comment by Carolina Funk — January 25, 2013 @ 5:09 am

Hi thanks for all the great information and looking forward to it!

Questions though – will there be a sign as to where the shuttles are (especially at the train station. It’s the Westbury stop right?)

And if i’m wearing a running jacket (similar to define jacket) so i can store my keys etc in pockets, will I be able to wear that inside or will I have to check it? Thought we only need to check heavy winter coats.

Comment by karen — January 25, 2013 @ 9:25 am

Hey Stacy,
The area surrounding the coliseum is all paid parking, so I’m not sure if you will be allowed to drive right up. You should be able to get dropped off fairly close though, and Hotel Dr. is a smaller street to one side of the coliseum.

Comment by lululemon athletica GEC — January 25, 2013 @ 2:20 pm

Do we need to bring our own bags to load up our goodies after purchase? Or will you guys plastic bag our goods?

Also will lulu stores hem our pant purchases? Thanks!

Comment by karen — January 27, 2013 @ 5:41 am

I am concerned about the comment on your website that tells us to leave out heavy coats at home. I will be coming via public transportation from Manhattan. You also indicate that there could be a long line to enter . . . given the current winter conditions and the expected weather for next weekend, I would venture to say MANY people will be wearing heavy coats. . .

Comment by Kelley — January 27, 2013 @ 12:19 pm

Will there also be non-clothing items available at this sale? For example, headbands, bags, yoga mats, etc?

Comment by Diana — January 27, 2013 @ 12:20 pm

Hi Karen,
We’ll pop your gear into bags for you so no need to bring your own.

Hi Kelley,
We want you to stay warm during your trip to the sale! We will have a bag and coat check at the event so you can shop freely. The wait times to get in can vary and in the past, the first day or during opening is when I’ve seen the longest lines.

Hi Diana,
We will have accessories at the event as well so come by to check them out!

As I’ve never been to the Westbury LIRR station before, I’m nervous about finding the shuttle – will there be signs, etc.?

Comment by Kim — January 28, 2013 @ 8:05 am

I am interested in attending BUT I am scared that you won’t have things to fit a larger sized woman who isn’t a size 2. I need items for hot yoga and gym visits.

Also, since I will be traveling quite a distance, my backpack tends to carry all of my essentials. Will I have to check that? What is available for food?

Comment by Tammi T — January 28, 2013 @ 9:57 am

I would assume there will be handicap parking available. Are there any other accommodation available for handicap access?

Comment by Sharon — January 28, 2013 @ 11:45 am

Hi Karen,
A running jacket will be fine to keep on while shopping.

Hi Kim,
We’ll have signs up so you won’t miss the shuttle!

Hi Tammi,
There will be a variety of sizes ranging from 2-12 for women. I didn’t see too many hot yoga items at the Vancouver event although I don’t know what items you can expect to see at the Long Island sale. There will be a bag check for your belongings and there are places in the area to grab a snack.

Hi Sharon,
Handicap parking and access will be available.

I drove from Minneapolis to Chicago last year for the sale and it was well worth it. My only regret is not buying more! I would not recommend bringing a stroller, use a small clutch or wallet and if you can leave your jacket in your car as the bag/coat check line was long at times but not awful. They won’t list price info until the sale starts but will post on their twitter and continuously update with new deals. The deals were incresible last year, better than any outlet store, worth the drive and parking fee. Prices went down last year as the sale went on. By Sunday in Chicago all scooba hoodies were buy 1 get 1 free and I believe crops were $19 and pants were $29. If you’ve never purchases lulu before I suggest going to a regular store before the sale to determine your size so you can avoid the dressing room line. Happy shopping to those who go this year! Hope to see another sale come back to the Midwest sometime!

Comment by Hilary — January 29, 2013 @ 4:37 pm

Hi there -
I know you’ve answered different versions of this question but are you restocking throughout the same day? It will help me decide if I should go as early as possible or mid-day is fine.

I know you restock between Sat and Sun but will you restock between Sat morning and Sat afternoon?

are vests required to be checked in?

Comment by Kate — January 30, 2013 @ 7:12 pm

How about Philadelphia? When might we expect a sale here?
Doesn’t seem fair:)

Comment by Kathy — January 31, 2013 @ 8:09 am

Hi Hilary,
R&D discounts aren’t something we can apply to your warehouse sale purchases.

We certainly will be restocking throughout the weekend Jen. Personally, I tend to head out as soon as I can to scope out the gear and sizes.

Hi Mash,
Any type of outerwear or bags will need to be checked in. Were you thinking of carrying your wallet in the vest pocket? I know lighter weight items you may be able to wear inside.

Hi Kathy,
Keep your eyes and ears out for details on our next warehouse event. We normally see them each year so I’ll put in your word that you’d like to see the next one in Philadelphia.

When you say last entry 6pm, does that mean on the line by 6pm? If we arrive to the stadium at 530-545 and get on line but aren’t let in by 6pm will we still be allowed in? Does it just mean that no one is allowed to line up past 6pm?

Comment by Michelle — February 1, 2013 @ 7:20 am

Spot on, Michelle. We will be cutting off the line at 6pm so that we can ensure all of those guests will be able to get in and enjoy the event. The party will continue on until 8pm, so you will have time to shop, take in the atmosphere and enjoy everything the event has to offer.

Comment by lululemon athletica GEC — February 1, 2013 @ 10:40 am

What a joke! I just went to the expense and effort to attend this sale, and am very sorry I did.

The selection of men’s attire was small, and poorly organized. After waiting on line an hour to get into the room, I couldn’t believe that all I found was one rack of pants/shorts per size, and one rack of tops/shirts/outerwear, per size. That’s IT.

And apparently, inadequate number of fitting rooms, since women were stripping down to their panties in the open, trying things on.

Since it costs $10 to park (and a 1/4 tank of gas from the city) , it’s a real gamble that you would find enough purchases to make it worth your effort.

Comment by Brian — February 1, 2013 @ 11:21 am

What type of discounts are we talking about here? I can just blow half a day to come out there to find out.

Comment by Tom — February 1, 2013 @ 2:13 pm

If a cashier made a mistake on my receipt (I got charged 329$ for one item), how do I resolve that?? Do I go back and wait in line and head straight to cashiers? Do I bring all the clothes with me? (I realize this was my own mistake for not double checking but how do I fix it?)

Thank you!

Comment by Mash — February 1, 2013 @ 3:33 pm

I went today and was disappointed in the selection of mens’! Warning to those making the trek from the city—-If you’re a male, wanting men’s items, the selection was meager on Friday–might not be worth the time and money to make the trip! I waited an hour to get in, and 20 minutes to pay!
