healthy holidays playlist!

We asked our guests on Facebook and Twitter to share the songs that help put a little jingle bell pep in their workouts during the holidays. Here are their suggestions:

holiday playlist from lululemon guests

healthy holidays playlist

Deck The Halls - Glee Christmas Tribute
Comforting, fun and a festive "gleeful" twist.

All My Bells Are Ringing - Lenka
Love love love this, fun, new, fresh, and not about Rudolph, great beat.

Last Christmas - Wham!

Classic, little bit of 80s for your holiday run or sweat!

All I want for Christmas - Mariah Carey
Is any holiday playlist complete with Mariah? Mariah! She's on fiy-ah!

White Christmas - Michael Bublé

What's a holiday list without a little dose of Bublé?

Baby It's Cold Outside - Leon Redbone & Zooey Deschanel

From the "Elf" soundtrack. Makes your heart warm around the holidays. Sing it with the one you love.

Deck the Halls - SheDaisy
Such a great holiday beat and beautiful vocals. Perfect for half way through your workout.

The Time (Dirty Bit) - Black Eyed Peas
I know it's not a holiday song, but it's really needed on any run or workout you may venture in right now.

Carol of the Bells (In the style of Trans-Syberian Orchestra) - The Festival of Rock Orchestra
First off, this is my ULTIMATE favourite Holidays song of all time. Still looking for the best version, but this one is pretty wicked.

Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy - David Bowie & Bing Crosby
Kind of love this mash-up, little bit of classic, little bit of rock.

Run Rudolph Run - Bryan Adams
Gets you moving and makes you remember the late 80s and early 90s with a smile, and you forget how you used to crimp your hair...

Christmas Tree - Lady GaGa
Really fun beat, and shockingly not traditional from GaGa. Little bit of swagger needed to rock out to this one.

Oi to the World - No Doubt

Hello 90s and welcome to my workout. Who doesn't love classic No Doubt?

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - Jack Johnson

Such a mellow way to cool down with my old buddy Jack Johnson.

I listened to Dirty Bit as I was running my FIRST half marathon Dec. 5th!!! I was sooo much fun and I finished in 2:19:59 which included a bathroom stop at Starbucks (whoops!)!! I am running my second half on January 16th here in Phx and I’m sooo excited to improve my time and look cute in my Lulu attire!

Way to go Lisa on your first Half. I just did my 20th or so Half on the 5th too. The Rock & Roll Marathon in Las Vegas. I listen to all different kinds of music but putting on some X-Mas music would just get you in the spirt more. I’m from Vancouver B.C. and lululemon is what everyone here wears.

My spin class had an amazing kind of dance/hip-hop cover of the Nutcracker. Haven’t been able to track it down … anyone know the one I’m talking about?

And Bootie has two Christmas mash-ups for free downloads here, too:

Great song choices & I browsed older playlists– you choose great songs for workouts. Does lululemon ever sell playlist cds at the stores?

wizards in winter by Trans Siberian Orchestra!
nondenominational holiday song that really gets me in the mood to shovel snow :)

That Song by Emilie Mover and Sleigh Bells by KT Tunstall – both nice and peppy and somewhat original.

Agree that a little holiday spirit can help on a cold winter run :)…I just recently posted 19 songs specifically for running that are more indie and alternative christmas music (bands like Belle & Sebastian, Housemartins, the Kinks, Ramones, dB’s, XTC, Wilco, etc) The songs have faster Beats Per Minute (BPM) so you don’t subconsciously slow down to the beat of a song and studies have shown that running w/ music that matches your pace can actually improve your performance. All songs are either inspirational, about running, or just fun. Check it out over 35+ hrs of running music at:
