kahuna and cadence shorts: a comparison

A lot of men and their wives have recently been asking about the difference between our classic Kahuna Shorts, and our new Cadence Shorts.  To that we’ve decided to put together a few points on each short so that you can decide if you or your man would prefer Kahuna or Cadence Shorts.

cadence shorts

The Cadence Short is a new style we created to update the function of the Chief Short from last year. It fits similar to the Chief Short and is more relaxed and accommodates a bigger build than the Kahuna Short. Our designers also updated the function of the Cadence Short to be a rugged do-anything, anywhere short. You will probably love the Cadence shorts if one or more of the following applies to you:

Hiking with Lucy

  • You love the outdoors.
  • You enjoy climbing trees.
  • Your best friend really is a dog named Lucy.

  • You prefer sweating in dirt by hiking, rock climbing, and playing slo-pitch.
  • You cut your own firewood.
  • You love your swiss army knife as much as your first child, and need strong pockets to protect your beloved.
  • You are built more like Paul Bunyan than President Obama.

Please bring back the Chief shorts. They are the perfect length and provide more room, with a real hockey butt. All 2010 do not have the hockey butt and the 2011 shorts have something called “like hockey butt”.

Never would have thunk I would find this so indispensbale.

I agree with Doug. I wear my pair of Chief shorts nearly daily. The updated cadence doesn’t fit nearly as well and is a much heavier short. Why update something that didn’t need any updating. All hail the Chief!
