a glimpse at new gear: meet the runder under

a glmpse at new gear
meet the runder under
why we love it
No, you're not dreaming. That isn't a typo. Introducing the Runder Under Pant, a made-for-run version of our classic Wunder Under. These pants were inspired by our hunger for clocking km's and the simple, no-fuss design of a pant we know and love. Stash pockets in the waistband, a continuous drawcord and flip-up reflective details are some of the key features that make the Runder Under run worthy. Last week, we caught up with New-York-based Runder Under designer, Lauren. We talked run gear, New York and why she has a mad crush on Vancouver.

thats what she said
Why We Designed This - An interview with Lauren

What were you looking to solve when you designed the Runder Under Pant?
We were getting a ton of feedback from the stores that our guest was looking for a running version of the Wunder Under so we decided to make one! I took the Wunder Under design and added things like gel pockets and flip-up reflectivity to make them run ready. The pants will still fit like the Wunder Under; the difference is we added running-friendly bells and whistles and we made the fabric run specific.

What guided your fabric choices?
I used Rulu™ because it's the kind of warm and cozy fabric I want to run in when it's cold. I love this technical run fabric because it wicks moisture and lets your legs breathe. We added Power Luxtreme™ and a continuous drawcord to the waistband so these pants will hug your waist when you're running.

Can you describe New York in one word?
That is hard...nope, can't do it! This city is just way too complex and incredible.

What do you think of Vancouver?
I am in Vancouver almost once a month and I find myself always looking forward to it. When I am in Vancouver I split my time between design meetings and yoga. The beauty and fresh air give me a chance to recharge - it feels like a retreat.
