off the mat: the wunder-ful

You don't need to look far to know how much I love our Wunder Under bottoms (31 days straight will do that). They are definitely versatile. They've pulled double duty for me from work, to dinners, yoga and play.

Ditching the elevator for the stairs

why i love my wunder unders

  • a mid-rise pant that sits comfortably around my lower waist
  • keeps me covered even in downward dog
  • hidden pocket in the waistband so that I never misplace my lip balm or gym key
  • Available in a pant or crop, I could wear this style year round (which I do)

How to wear them "off the mat": the key is to keep your bum covered with a longer top, especially in a work environment.

What's keeping me warm underneath my sweater? The Yogi Dance Tank. It has built in support, adjustable shoulder straps and a adjustable hemline. Love the look but want some more coverage? Try layering a Cool Racerback or Flow Y  Bra underneath.

My favourite sock for the gym (or in this case, a Bar Method class): Featherweight Socks

What's your favourite "sweat once a day" activity? Which bottoms are your 'go to' style?

Not really that original. That’s how leggings are in the office across North America. I would like to see something well different.

I think both outfits are adorable and original. It’s the little touches that make the difference between mediocre style and great style. Very well done!

Hello everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to check this out, I love hearing how everyone is wearing their lululemon clothing out an about so keep those comments coming!

My sweater is from one of our stores in Vancouver called…lululemon lab! The product is exclusive in store only. You can check them out on Facebook at .

For my shoes, I found them in a market on a trip to Hong Kong. Studded anything is hot right now so scope a local shoe store for options.

Hi Elim,
Is the sweater a recent lab product? Would it still be available?

Comment by Jo — December 9, 2010 @ 4:07 pm

Hello Jo, I purchased this piece back in April so it won’t be available now. I did hear that they might be revamping the style so keep your eyes peeled for it next time you visit.

Do you remember the name of this sweater?

Comment by Jillian — December 9, 2010 @ 5:30 pm

How awesome would it be to work at lululemon? Exciting.

I love the Bar Method, Lululemon should make Bar Method socks!

Comment by jt — December 10, 2010 @ 7:25 am

Jillian: the name of the sweater was called The Lykke Li

Serra: my blazer is from H&M but the lab might have something similar!

Couple of questions…

I recently purchased a luon pant; groove and am unhappy with the luon quality. Is it possible it is brushed luon?? What is this and how do I ensure I get luon that is like my 6 year old roll down waist luon pants?

Secondly, to be able to wear a Lululemon pant to my casual day job, tucked into winter boots; what design would be most versatile and considered business casual?

Absolutely LOVE the sweater. Please revamp and sell it at lululemon =)

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I’m sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the quality of your luon Groove Pants. Our brushed luon is made from the same nylon/lycra blend, so that shouldn’t have an impact on the durability of the fabric. What problems are you seeing with the fabric? We’d be happy to take a look at them to see what the problem is and try to work out a resolution. Take them into your local lululemon store and show them to an educator, or if you’re not near a store, give us a call at the GEC at 1.877.263.9300, option 2.

As for your second question, I would recommend Wunder Under Pants if you’re planning to tuck them into boots. They look great with a longer shirt or dress. For ideas on how to wear Wunder Unders, you can check out Elim’s 30 Day Wunder Challenge:
