words of wisdom – weekend edition

We aren’t giving in to the ‘shoulds’ this weekend – should do laundry, should get groceries, should do taxes. The weekend Life’s too short to sweat the small stuff. Do what-cha wanna and let that be enough.

Our first Digital Storyteller, Elissa, is officially on maternity leave now, appropriately, right before Mother’s Day. In her goodbye blog post, she reflects on her pregnancy so far and how the advice given to marathon runners is also apt for the 40 week experience.

Our ambassador Holly brings her practice to the Soho community Before you can set powerful goals, you need to identify what your values are. We asked to get a peek at Holly’s recent pursuits. do 180 things that scare you

About a year ago, my good friend Nick told me about this hiking trail in Corsica called the GR20, which is supposed to be one of the toughest in all of Europe, and he suggested it would make a great trip to test our abilities. It looked like a cool idea, but I kept on […]

friends are more important than money

Friends are more important than money. Even before I started working for lululemon I was inspired by this quote. To me, it serves as a gentle reminder of one of my goals. My personal BHAG (big hairy audacious goal): I will book a trip with my best friends once a year. In May, nine of […]

living the manifesto: day 16

Your outlook on life is a direct reflection of how much you like yourself (for real this time). What a concept! So simple and yet so remarkably true. Finding your sweet spot in life is all about uncovering the sweet spot in you. And why not really go for it? If there’s one thing I […]

30 days of manifesto

I have decided to take myself on in the most extreme way. For 30 days, I will be taking on lululemon’s manifesto like it’s going out of style (which it won’t, don’t worry!). What does this mean? Well, I will be scaring a lot of people, including myself. I will be sweating at least once […]

In the true spirit of lululemon, Asmin will be creating from nothing and setting the tone for what it means to be a colourist here at lululemon. Say hello… Asmin, in her Olympic gear what is […]

carry on and spread love!

We love the “oohs” and “ahhs” we get from our guests the first time we hand them their first lululemon shopper. Instantly guests want to know, what are these phrases, what’s the deal with this bag, and why are you sharing it with me? In sharing our infamous shopper with all of our guests, we are sharing a piece of our culture and inspiration as a company. We have traditionally adorned our shoppers with the lululemon manifesto, which is a series of statements that we believe embody our company’s vision, culture and beliefs. We love to see our guests carrying our shopper to and from yoga and farmer’s markets, as it serves as a constant reminder of our vision to create components for people to live longer, healthier and more fun lives.
