In classes with Alison, there are invigorating, flowing postures – like Sun Salutations – that allow you to warm up and connect with your breath, combined with static postures and longer holds to build strength and increase flexibility. During class, you’ll receive clear and precise alignment instructions to practice safely while also refining and advancing your practice. Becca is an inspired and creative Power Vinyasa teacher, residing in Marin County California. She is also a dedicated early childhood educator, and an active community mentor working to advocate for some of our town’s most underserved and at risk youth. She has received over 500 hours of training and advanced studies through YogaWorks since 2009, and is also certified to teach children through It’s Yoga Kid’s. Through her graduate studies, she developed YogaPowerment™, a program designed to empower young girls through Yoga, arts and mindfulness. Mother, Kindergarten Teacher, Triathlete I somehow qualified for the Ironman Kona. I did it as an adventure, something I may never have the opportunity to do again. Earning a slot to go was a gift not to be overlooked. I was extremely nervous about being able to even complete the event, this was my only goal I had a wonderful experience while doing the race, it was actually quite blissful for such a long day, and the added bonus was I did quite well. I have learned that often times, putting yourself out on a limb for a new challenge opens the door to a lifelong passion. It certainly has happened again and again for me!
