Abria has been practicing in the Bay Area for 14 years where he began his practice at 16 years old as the captain of the football team in highschool.

His passion for yoga and eastern philosophy ignited his travels where he studied in Thailand in 2001, and attended a 700hr vinyasa yoga certification encompassing Asana, vipasana, teaching methodology, postural alignment clinics and the study of the 8 limbs of yoga. After 5 years of Bikram Yoga, Abria opened his practice to vinyasa yoga prior to attending his first teacher training which supported a great foundation for him to learn all the he could and teach all that he learned.

In March of 2007 he attended the Internationally recognized Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in the first of only 2 Hawaii based trainings outside of the world renowned headquarters location in Los Angeles. His passion in yoga has allowed him to travel abroad with the endless ability to connect with other yogis from all over the world and is an annual dedicated practice for him to travel and teach internationally.

He currently teaches full time in Marin County and surrounding Bay Area studios with the emphasis on what he says, "Yoga is important to keep and continue a consistent practice, to remember what is most important in your life, and to keep your vision clear as to what is most important to you, your health." Another arena Abria is volunteering in is the Prison yoga Project, here Abria teaches inmates within the San Quinten State Prison system. Creating space for prisoners to detach from prison life, so that they can realize what infinite wisdom resides within them and relieve the stresses of prison.

The passions Abria continues to follow are what excites him, something he would do whether or not he was paid to do so. One of those other passions are road racing motorcycles. The balance and mental awareness that are heightened in the mind and body are incredible when it comes to the sport of racing and something that he has been so deeply intrigued by since he was only 2 years old. This passion has now come into fruition and he is racing at the semi-pro/club level with the American Federation of Motorcyclist (AFM) and recently now the team Abria has created, Pranaforce Racing is being recognized at the Pro level of American Motorcycle Association (AMA).
