It’s not what you take but what you leave! The Improvement in quality of human life is where I’ve made my stand. As a personal trainer I’m able to positively change people’s lives, yet with limited hours each day I may only make a dent in the task I’ve chosen. Deciding to impact lives deeper than only one was my first mission. Educating an individual creates a conviction so strong that they bubble over with inspiration. Parents affect children, spouses affect each other, and others affect friends and co-workers. Although this was a form of reaching deeper, a greater opportunity must still be available. Instructing and certifying trainers would be an even more affective approach if they would aspire to also affect people deeper. Opening studios to create an environment to provide this level of service was a natural progression, but is it enough?
Participating in natural fitness using bodybuilding to demonstrate and growing to a judge’s seat at provincial level competitions gave opportunity to promote leadership.
Speaking at various engagements has allowed and continues to allow me both platform and venue to reach more people with positive encouragement and inspiration.
Singing, playing guitar, and sharing my compositions allow me an outlet of expression.
Involvement as ambassador to lululemon was due not only to my strong belief in the value and quality of the athletic wear, but mostly to the culture of friendships and wellness. I want to continue to be an outstanding representative.
Riding my unicycle was always an individual sport, but sharing that ability has become a passion piqued at my lululemon ambassador training during goal setting. Now I will ride across Canada to support kid’s with cancer while visiting every lululemon store and children’s cancer clinics along the way.
Thanks for allowing me an opportunity to share.
