Carrie Christman

24 Hour Fitness Hawaii Kai

Carrie is a personal trainer, Pilates instructor, group exercise instructor, master trainer and yoga lover. She believes that no matter what form of exercise one chooses the overall effect will be positive; mentally, physically, and spiritually. Carrie’s passion is teaching people to LOVE exercise by promoting a variety of activities.

Carrie grew up in Santa Cruz, California competing in sports such as basketball, volleyball, softball, flag football, gymnastics and track. In college at UC Berkeley she discovered aerobics and began teaching group exercise classes to fulfill her need to remain active.

In 1989 she moved to Hawaii to get married and soon started a family. She later began a career with 24hour Fitness as a group exercise instructor and a master trainer. Her classes at 24hour Fitness are popular due largely to her raucous and entertaining style of teaching; students leave the room feeling successful, happy, sweaty and ready for more. She also works with clients in her home for personal training and private Pilates sessions.

She and her husband of 17 years, Kirk, have three boys; ages, 16, 14 and 10. The boys carry on the family’s legacy of being actively involved in a variety of sports such as volleyball, basketball, and football.
