The moment I understood my yogic path was the moment I realized that what I created on my mat had a direct correlation to what I created in my life; if I could shift consciousness in one place, I could shift consciousness in the other. I could live yoga.
I dabbled with a yoga practice off and on as a form of physical exercise since 1999 but it wasn't until 2005 that I realized yoga was my gateway into living/breathing/experiencing some of the biggest questions I had struggled with my entire life: Who am I? Why am I here? What is the purpose? ... and who knows if these questions will EVER be answered, but as I move forward I joyously invite the exploration.
In the spring of 2007, I completed my teacher training at Yoga Works with Jeanne Heileman and Carmen Fitzgibbon. I am currently exploring the Tantric path of Anusara Yoga, training with Tiffany Fraser, Marc Holzman, Tara Judelle, and Noah Maze. I currently teach 9 group classes a week all over Los Angeles and work with a private clientele of individuals working in film, television, health care, education, design, government, hospitality and more.
I teach what I discover. Above all, yoga is a practice. I am constantly learning, exploring and discovering that All is One. My style currently draws from the systems of Anusara Yoga and Vinyasa Flow in which my classes are infused with athleticism & stillness: combining elements of strength, breath awareness, alignment, energy focus, curiosity and spirit. I strive to provide a foundation...a discipline...a structure...for students to celebrate their individuality within a universal awareness.
