Tomomi Kojima is a 500hr certified yoga teacher as well as a coach, writer, pianist, lover of traveling, nature, vegetable and fun times. Tomomi loves and lives for the moments of change, shifts and possibilities that are characteristic of Vinyasa practice. Her passion in this tradition was born out of her own practice to find her inner rhythm, strength and clarity. She keeps her classes "real" and fun to connect the daily life off the mat and practice on the mat.
She teaches regular classes at Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio as well as various office buildings. She is familiar with the life in offices and deeply connects with people with a similar lifestyle. She teaches yoga asana (postures) as well as sessions that use yogic philosophy and compassionate communication skills to bring harmony and peace to various work settings.
She is a faculty member of T.A.Y.S yoga teacher training programs and teaches workshops for yoga teachers such as Advanced Vinyasa Assist training and Creative Sequencing. She travels to different parts of Nova Scotia and the United States to offer various trainings and master classes.
Her other passion is writing. She has published several articles on Elephant Journal and keeps her blog, The Yoga Rebel as her online home. You can find her blog at www.theyogarebel.wordpress.com.
