Years of consistent yoga practice inspired Icy to quit the management role in a major Yoga chain to found YOGASALA in 2009. The change has not only enriched her teaching experience but also allowed her to better share the joy of Yoga practice. She believes that practicing asana (yoga posture) & pranayama (breath control) with conscious observation & awareness not only improves physical health, but maintains mental stability that helps us to face the turmoil in life with ease.
Under years of guidance of her teacher, Peter Scott, she is an Iyengar certified Yoga teacher. Her classes is a combination of the technical aspects of asana and the philosophy behind the practice. She travels yearly to attend Yoga workshops to share and improve her knowledge of Yoga with teachers around the world .
