Meghan grew up as an active child competing in soccer, basketball, softball, tennis, and gymnastics. In high school, she moved to Hilton Head Island to train at Van Der Meer tennis academy and received a scholarship to play Division I college tennis at Davidson. Meghan went on to graduate school for elementary education and running became her new passion. Since then, Meghan has qualified for the Boston Marathon seven times, with a personal best time of 2:58:25. Meghan wanted a new challenge, and discovered a love for triathlon. In her second triathlon, she placed first overall. In her debut ironman, she qualified for the Hawaii Ironman World Championships with a 10:45:04. Meghan was an elementary school teacher for eight years. She is now combining her love for teaching and fitness and has joined her twin sister in the health and wellness industry.
