Brittney's a 10th generation St. Augustine native. As a young child and through to the preteen years gymnastics was her thing. She started playing tennis at 16 and took her first yoga class at 17. She went on to play college tennis, it consumed her life and ransacked her body and each time she ached she always went back to yoga and always felt better.Taking her first Ashtanga class in 2006, Brittney began a dedicated home practice. Chris Roman has always had running in his blood, it is his truth. He ran his first Boston Marathon at age 21 clocking a decent time of 3:09. Chris was built to run. After making his career switch to Radiology,Chris naturally fell back into the rhythm of running. On a whim, he entered his first ultra running event in 2006 and was fortunate enough to run with Dean Karnazes during his 50 Marathons in 50 States in 50 Days. Along this very technical trail run, Dean introduced Chris to the concept of Ultra-running. After completing numerous 50k, 50 mile and 100k races, Chris competed in the Leadville 100 in 2008, a 100 mile trail race in Leadville, CO. A friend promised Frank that yoga asana would enhance his kick-boxing practice and break up the monotony of his regular gym workouts so he gave it a try. During his first ever yoga experience, he realized an immediate passion for yoga. Jo Shott is one of the most personable people you will meet in Jacksonville Florida. She is an avid runner and a community connector in the Jacksonville running community. She is co-owner of the "Jacksonville Running Company". They have recently opened their second store. She loves her dog Deena more than life itself and runs with her often. Mary Lyn was introduced to yoga in 2002 while living in Seattle. One year later, she was taken to a Baptiste Power Vinyasa yoga studio in the city and found what had been missing in her practice. The Baptiste system introduced an incredibly physical practice, but it also tapped into her spirit more than she had experienced before.
