Mary Lyn was introduced to yoga in 2002 while living in Seattle. One year
later, she was taken to a Baptiste Power Vinyasa yoga studio in the city and
found what had been missing in her practice. The Baptiste system introduced
an incredibly physical practice, but it also tapped into her spirit more
than she had experienced before.
After a move to the Florida coast, Mary Lyn pursued training to become a
Baptiste teacher. She has her RYT-200 through Yoga Alliance, completed Level
one and Level two training with Baron Baptiste, and is an Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Instructor.
Passionate about transformation, Mary Lyn sees a teacher's position as the
greatest platform to hold space for others. Because of experiencing it
herself, her biggest desire is to share with others what is possible on and
off the mat. She is sharing the shine in the Jacksonville area teaching as
much as she can and in pursuit of her own studio.
