Kim Jollymore

Twenty nine years happily married to my high school sweetheart, mother of two grown men, who are the lights of my eyes.
Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo.
Member of Team Canada for the Age Group World Championships in Honolulu Hawaii in Oct. 2005, Long Distance World Championships in Canberra Australia in Nov. 2006 and World Championships in Vancouver BC in June 2008. Qualified for Team Canada for the Age Group World Championships in Auckland New Zealand April 2012, by placing third in my age group in the Canadian Championships on August 21, 2011. (but will not be attending)
Two time finisher of Ironman Canada in Penticton, B.C.
Competed in the Boston Marathon, April 2010.
Have completed over ten marathons, many half marathons and other distance races, enjoy the beauty and serenity of running in the trails and pathways with family and friends. My favourite runs are those surrounded by brilliant sun, water, and sand, in freshly fallen autumn leaves when summer changes to fall, and making the first tracks in a fresh winter snowfall while big snowflakes get caught in my eyelashes.
Take great joy in sharing my love of running and triathlon with those just beginning their journeys, and wanting to face new challenges.
Have discovered an immense pleasure in my yoga practice, finding a sense of peace and surrender while I am in the hot room sweating with others. I am able to challenge the bounds of my tight muscles and enjoy the sense of release that comes upon me.
When winter hits, although I would much prefer to be basking in the warm Okanagan sun, I enjoy skate skiing with my husband and my friends in the tranquil trails of our area.
