Philip Clift has taught yoga in Knoxville since 1994. Philip specializes in a unique Power Flow Yoga, based on the Ashtanga Vinyasa system developed by K. Pattabhi Jois. Philip also instructs many other types of yoga, such as Yin, pranayama, and meditation. After receiving a B.S. in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee, Philip went on to study at the Atlanta School of Massage. As an expert in nutrition and practicing massage therapist, Philip has a unique ability to understand the body and its capabilities. Building on his extensive knowledge of body systems, Philip brings an unmatched teaching style to his classes. He offers hands-on adjustments during class, which helps guide each individual student deeper toward their full potential as practitioners. Philip offers weekly classes, private instruction, and massage therapy (including deep tissue, reflexology, and Ashiatsu) at the Glowing Body Yoga Studio on Central Ave in Knoxville.
