I have always enjoyed running as long as I can remember. I also remember loathing short distance races at school:) I would gear towards the longer ones. So today running a half marathon is like a sprint to me. I know crazy but true. I enjoy running marathons and have gotten into ultra's. I ran my first 50 miler last year march 2012 and have another 50 June 1 2013. I would love to do a 100 miler sooner then later too:) I have a hefty goal of running 50 marathons by the time I turn 50, I have run 25 thus far, I'm 44 you do the math:) I have a lot of running to do don't I. I love encouraging people to start running and reaching their individual goals. That brings a huge smile to my face. I'm the run club coach at Lifetime Fitness in Summerlin and have made some amazing friends through helping them get back out on the pavement. I also manage the Summerlin Striders Running Club (find us on Facebook) we post runs weekly for runners of all paces. Running grounds me, motivates me, is so liberating and great FREE therapy. Give it a go I promise it's all good:) One step in front of the other. Never give up.
