Simoneau Sports Performance (SSP)
Ian Campbell hails from a small town in Western, Kansas where the population is just over 2,000. He was a standout athlete in high school, but when offered to play football for Kansas State University had to start clean and establish himself on a team of superstars. Ian did just that and went on to become one of the most decorated defensive players in K-State’s accomplished football history. In addition to many other accolades, he was an All-Big 12 selection multiple years, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, Ted Hendricks Semi-Finalist, HM-All-American by Sports Illustrated and Sophomore 1st Team All-American.
Ian is no stranger to proving himself and overcoming obstacles to meet his goals. He takes this mindset to help motivate aspiring college athletes through his sports performance training and to help adults of all ages reach their fitness and nutritional goals through his personal training and FIT classes at Simoneau Sports Performance in Overland Park, Kansas. His fitness philosophy is simple – Speak it, do it, live it. His goal with each person he works with is to instill a lifestyle of being a well-rounded healthy person – no crash diets or fads. Consistency, staying active and making healthy choices.
Ian resides in Kansas City with his wife, Kasha and English Bulldog, Cash. When he is not training he has his nose in a book or is in the kitchen. His specialties include mouthwatering ribs and Grandma’s special gravy!
