Becki Lassley

Competitive runner, 5280 Fitness & Sport Tae Bo

Becki Lynn, in her words ~ I have been in the fitness industry for the last 10 years and for many of those years running was simply a hobby. Recently, I began entering races and making it much more than a hobby. I am passionate about being healthy and pushing through mental and physical road blocks. In 1997, I was in a horse back riding accident and broke my ankle when a horse fell on me. It put me out of running and left me to face the difficult question of, "Am I ever going to run again?". Determined to not let this road block get the best of me, I searched for ways to rehabilitate my leg. This is how I was first introduced to the world of Tae Bo(r) fitness classes. I received the first videos from my physical therapist as a means of rehabilitation. In August of... Read the profile >>

Craig Kloppenberg

CrossFit 5280, owner and trainer

From the words of Craig himself: I consider myself a physical fitness enthusiast. I have dabbled with most of the programs that are found in all the big publications trying to reach a level of ''Ultimate Fitness''. Never really being happy with the results that I was getting, a young man by the name of Rich Clench introduced me to CrossFit in September of 2006. Soon after meeting Rich I made a commitment to CrossFit. The result was a new commitment to working out and enjoying my time at the gym more than I ever have. The physical results were amazing also. I began to lose weight, feel stronger and look better than I have in years. I attended a CrossFit certification in November and my ''love affair'' continued. I wanted to be a part of an organization that valued people and the... Read the profile >>

Linda Tarazona

Corepower Yoga Cherry Hills, Corepower Yoga Aurora

Linda was born in Peru, which has breath-taking landscapes and culture that dates back to Chavin and Inka civilizations. When she was a child, her parents instilled two thoughts that are still with her: Truth alone Triumphs and Work is Worship. From the days of the Pilgrim Fathers, America has always been a welcoming place for immigrants. America has always rewarded hard work and sincerity, and cheered the underdogs. Linda's success mirrors the successes of generations of immigrants into this country and, like them; she came here seeking happiness and prosperity. Linda started her career as an IT support engineer for a telecom giant. Her work schedule was monotonous and meaningless and she got worn out with corporate bureaucracy. One fine day Linda decided that this is not what she... Read the profile >>
