Lauren, a 500 RYT, is grateful and honored to be a lululemon Ambassador! She has been teaching yoga for three years, practicing for eight years and is thrilled to continue her lifelong education of this inspiring practice. Lauren is motivated by her passion for learning and for understanding that yoga is vital in our demanding lives. She believes that yoga can help, heal and transform any life, at any age, and she diligently reaches out to the community to bring this awareness to this cause.
In addition to her programs through her company, Good Life Yoga, Lauren teaches studio classes at Balance Yoga and Healing Arts, Inner Spirit Yoga Center, and Simplicity Yoga. She also instructs Hatha Yoga courses at Molloy College, develops the Elwood Library yoga program, and includes yogic education in her elementary school art classes. As a certified Yoga Ed. instructor, one of the many objectives of her career is implementing yoga programming into the school environment and Lauren is actualizing this goal while earning her Master of Arts degree in Art Education from NYU.
With a hectic teaching schedule on her hands, Lauren loves to come back to center by spending time outdoors in many of Long Island’s beautiful spaces. You will find her teaching waterfront classes at Sunken Meadow or practicing on the boardwalk at Northport Harbor – always in her neon wunder unders! Lauren also loves attending music festivals, spending time hiking upstate, and enjoying the sunshine outside with family and friends. She threads her lust for life into her yoga classes by viewing yoga as an inquiry – a time to explore the body’s abilities and limitations with love and compassion.
